ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29th
PICTURES FROM FAMILIES AND FROM SCHOOL
CLEAN UP FROM MAPLE SUGARING ALONG WITH A BAKING PICTURE
These students are taking down the taps that Fireman Nate (Mrs. Bachand's husband) put in their trees from the sugaring season. They used these taps to collect syrup and boil it down at home. The third picture shows one of the students making banana bread.
NATURAL BEAUTY
A member of the Voyagers team is learning that there is beauty all around us. These photos were taken at Niquette State Park.
CHECK OUT THE UNIFIED ARTS BINGO BOARDS
A few items from the Unified Arts educational programming will be highlighted in the announcements each day.
Families, if you are looking for something fun for students to do, you might want to check out the UA Bingo Board web pages. They look like this:
BUILDING A RAISED GARDEN BED STRUCTURE
WORKING ON MATH WITH A FRIEND VIA SNAPCHAT VIDEO
LIFE SKILL
Here is a picture of a 3rd-grade Investigator helping his mom make lunch. Kids helping in the kitchen is a great life skill! Not only do they develop kitchen math skills, but they also apply reading, speaking, and listening skills. All this while having fun!
RAIDER HANGING OUT WITH HIS DOG, MAE
St. Albans City School families and staff members, if you have anything positive to share on the announcements that show what students and adults are doing to promote learning and a sense of community in this time of uncertainty, then please send it on to Mr. Craib at mcraib@maplerun.org. Please add a short descriptive note to go with your content. It would also be helpful if you wrote that you are providing consent to share your images, video clips, artwork, etc... Thank you. STUDENT BIRTHDAYS Families, feel free to share a picture (or provide permission for the school to find a picture) to go next to a birthdate. mcraib@maplerun.org APRIL (we began posting this list from April 17th onwards)
