ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR TUESDAY, MAY 12th

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL AND ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Dear Families, Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey we sent out last week around Distance Learning. Your general input was really helpful. We learned that we should require an email on the responses so that we can follow up with those that are not having success or have specific questions. We will make sure to do that next time. We will offer an interactive Zoom meeting on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:30, to share the feedback we received with parents/caregivers. We thought it might be more helpful to have an interactive session than just a written description. For those interested in the interactive Zoom Feedback Session May 19th, please provide your email address in this form so we can send you the Zoom link. The written description will follow the meeting. There are a few quick answers that we can give to general questions; There is no SBAC this year - this was canceled at the state level. The last day of school is June 15th. We do plan to celebrate our 8th grade that will leave us this year. A separate meeting will be held to gather input from families and students. EMBRYOLOGY PROJECT UPDATE #3 Raider kept an eye on the chicken, duck, and turkey eggs over the weekend. As of Monday, there were 15 days left until the eggs begin hatching.

WAKA WAKA CHALLENGE ACCEPTED This 5th-grade Discovery student, her mom and cousin decided to take on the WAKA WAKA challenge. Here is their video.
