STUDENTS BIKERS AND WALKERS

It is nice to see bikers and walkers making their way to school using their own power. These forms of transportation offer a way to get a little exercise and some fresh air. Accompanying family members or older siblings have been seen traveling with younger students to ensure that crossings along the way are handled safely. Crossing guards near the school are available to assist.

This family walks about a mile and one quarter to and from school.

INVESTIGATORS

Ms. Boudreau had her students line up outside her classroom before entry using airplane arms for distancing.

DISCOVERY P.E.

Ms. Jarvis had her students riding around the gravel exercise path on school bikes (9-11-2020). Many of her students completed 3-4 laps before class was over during this crisp morning.

VOYAGERS

Ms. Bashaw, Ms. Chisholm, and other Voyagers staff are famous at St. Albans City School for making walking around the exercise path a fun daily activity that their students take pride in participating in.

IMAGINATION 2nd and 3rd Grades 9-11-2020

Green group students in Ms. Johnson and Ms. Koldys' classrooms were photographed while eating lunch. They had just come in from time outside. Students first washed their hands and cleaned their tables before sitting down for either a hot or cold meal.

BUSES READY FOR DEPARTURE

We are gradually getting smoother at the arrival and departure process. The buses shown here departed just before 2:40 pm as planned. Then parents drove in to collect their students.

VIRTUAL ACADEMY

This virtual academy student is shown meeting with her teacher on Friday 9-11-2020. She wanted to share her continued connection with our school while learning on-line.
