PICTURES On Tuesday afternoon all the St. Albans City School athletes gathered on the fields for the first practice of the season. Everyone worked on fundamental skills and developing basic fitness. There was a lot of excitement about simply having the opportunity to be together and doing meaningful recreational activities, something that has been hard to do for half a year now. Photos were taken of all the athletes but some failed to save, particularly from the 7/8 girls soccer team practice. EXPECTED WEATHER FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS OF SCHOOL THIS WEEK

CUSTODIAN POSITION AVAILABLE St. Albans City School is seeking to hire an experienced, self-directed individual to join our Second Shift Facility Team.  This person must have a keen eye for detail, be mechanically inclined, able to maneuver up to 40 pounds, and possess knowledge in the following:  Commercial Floorcare, Institutional Building Sanitation, and Disinfection, Composting, Recycling, Operation of Industrial Equipment, Commercial Lawn Care, Glass Care, Building Security, and minor Building Maintenance and Repairs.  In addition, this position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, and flexibility to shift tasks easily.  The preferred candidate will be responsible for leading a 3 to 4 person team, making sure the assignments are completed satisfactorily, and will report directly to the Facility Manager.  Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal/communication skills. Knowledge of OSHA Regulations a plus. Excellent Benefit Package EDUCATION SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE City School is looking to fill Educational Support Personnel (ESP) positions.  Qualified candidates must be collaborative team members and have a passion for children.  Individuals will work with research-based intervention strategies and support differentiated classroom settings to meet the needs of our students.  Behavior management skills and knowledge of Conscious Discipline is a plus.  Ability to support students in feeling as if they belong and are held accountable.  Associates Degree or equivalent.
