PICTURES DREAMERS - LEBLANC: VIRTUAL ART SHOW Ms. Gina Leblanc's Preschool Green group (Th/Fri class) created some artwork at the end of last week and wanted to share it through a virtual art show. The art was made using Tempera Paint Sticks on paper. Tempera paint sticks resemble glue sticks and produce rich creamy colors. The children experimented with these broad coloring tools while listening to famous classical music. A beautiful time was had by all! Ms. Terra Burroughs organized the artwork session and took all the photos of the students and their artwork. Link to 30 Pictures LITERACY - LEVINE Literacy specialist, Ms. Levine has been pulling small groups of students from their learning communities for enrichment time in reading comprehension and vocabulary. The group featured here came from the 1st-3rd grade Imagination learning community. At the time the pictures were taken the students were absorbing a poem synced to a video slide show (with subtitles) and taking notes throughout the presentation. Afterward, they learned about vocabulary unfamiliar to them. Link to 12 Pictures DREAMERS - DUPONT Ms. Dupont’s class did a small unit on bats and echolocation. Check out their cool pictures.
