PICTURES DISCOVERY ART - HABERMAN Ms. Haberman had her students working on a multi-step art project. The first step required using coloring pencils to carefully shade strips of paper. These strips were to be cut up after the shading process and then woven together. The woven unit was then pasted onto a colored background as a frame for the artwork. 1-14-2021. PATRIOTIC ART CONTEST - TEAM USA & VFW AUXILIARY Illustrating America - A patriotic art contest for Grades 1-8; Two dimensional art on paper or canvas; Any media; Size must be between 8" x 10" to 18" x 24"; Coloring sheets, photos, and digital art not accepted. OPEN DOORS SIGN-UP UPDATE The next session starts January 25th-February 19th, Monday and Thursday - 2:30-4:00 pm. A Sign-up Link was opened for access on Monday, 1-11-2021. The link will close on Jan 22nd or when everything is filled Tuesday 1/12/2021: Classes filled up quickly- here is an update Creative Creations (1st-3rd grade) - Instructor: Wendy Trainer, location: Cafeteria- This program will entail wood, paper and other creative crafts that will help students learn to use their imagination and gift of creativity! 8TH GRADER BABY PICTURES WANTED The yearbook committee would like 8th graders to submit baby pictures for the yearbook. It is best if you submit digital copies of your pictures to Mr. Craib at mcraib@maplerun.org. If you need to bring in the original image for scanning, you can give it to your teacher who will pass it on to Mr. Craib. The picture will be scanned as soon as it is received and immediately returned safely to the student. |
