PICTURES AND NEWS

MOTIVATORS FOR FUN IN THE SNOW

St. Albans City school recently obtained 10 new snow tubes for some winter-time sliding fun during recess and P.E. When temperatures are low, there is nothing like a bit of downhill sledding to make it worthwhile getting outdoors. Fortunately, the school has a gentle hill for snow tubing that rolls out onto the athletic fields.  Because of the extra snow tubes on the hill this year, the school installed hay bales in lines on the edges of the slope. Students have been asked to walk uphill behind the barrier of the bales for safety’s sake.

Here are a few pictures from Thursday’s fun, 1-7-2021.

STUDENTS THOUGHTS ON WEARING MASKS

We are all experienced mask wearers now. Of course, you know what you think about mask-wearing but you may not know what other people have to say about them. Consider checking out these interview clips from a number of kindergarten through 8th-grade students who were asked about wearing masks. Some of their commentaries were compiled into short videos. Thanks to all the students who were brave enough to share their thoughts with us.

There are six videos about masks and one or two will be shown daily.
