SIGN UP FOR FAMILY SNOW TUBE USE AT SCHOOL OVER MID-WINTER BREAK  St. Albans City School would like to make limited snow-tube-use here at school available to families over the break. Families can contact Mr. Craib (at mcraib@maplerun.org) on a first-come, first-serve basis to schedule one ½-hour time slot on one day over the break for snow tube use. Each family that signs up can use half of the sledding hill and can have access to 5 snow tubes. The rules for snow-tube use are as follows. Arrive on time and depart promptly for your scheduled time-slot. Each slot is for a single-family household only, we cannot have mixed households.  There must be at least one adult who is supervising (and hopefully sledding too). Every family member must use a mask while on the sledding hill and while using the snow tubes. If your hands are bare, sanitizing before and after snow tube use is required. Only one family member can ride on a tube at a time. Walk up the hill behind the straw bale barriers to prevent being hit by people tubing down the hill. Leave the tubes at the top of the hill before departing. We cannot allow any access to the building. There are no bathroom facilities available. PICTURES ADVENTURERS WOODLAND ANIMALS PROJECT - FARRELL The students in Ms. Farrell’s classroom have been working on their woodland animal projects for quite some time. After picking an animal to focus on, they made model animals, built an appropriate woodland environment for that animal using a shoebox, and then wrote up what they had learned about their animal of choice.
