TRAVEL GUIDANCE

TESTING UPON RETURN

Unvaccinated Vermonters who have traveled outside the state must be tested within 3 days of returning to Vermont.

  • The test you get must be for a current infection (like a PCR test), except it cannot be an antigen test (also known as a rapid test).

  • Find free and fast testing near you.

  • You do not need to quarantine while you wait for a result. But if you have any symptoms, stay home and away from other people.

Vaccinated Vermonters do not need to get tested or quarantine.

People who had COVID-19 within the last 3 months and have recovered do not need to test or quarantine unless they develop new symptoms.

Rules for Vermonters who have traveled to other countries are different. Learn more.

SESSION FOUR - OPEN DOORS

May 3rd - June 3rd, Monday and Thursday - 2:30-4:00 pm.

Programs are offered for your child twice per week on Monday AND Thursday, with an exception for 7th and 8th -grade, where it will be offered only on the day they attend in-person classes.

There is NO bussing.

(FULL) Raider Treasure Hunters (1st-3rd)- You will be a part of a treasure hunting team looking for hidden treasure, clues, and hidden locations. You will practice using GPS coordinates, geocaching, map reading, scavenger hunting, and metal detecting. Good walking shoes will be required for each session.

Dungeons and Dragons (2nd-4th)- Explore the worlds of Dungeons & Dragons in this peer-taught program. Peer mentors will introduce younger players to some of the exciting characters, locations, creatures, and magical elements useful for creating your own epic, adventure-filled D&D tales. Ongoing adventures along with map making will be the focus. *Adult supervision provided*

Fun Spins (4th-8th)- See worlds on your bike. Enjoy your friends!  We will begin slowly but then venture out around the town if the weather allows.  When it rains we will cover maintenance and share fun videos of biking around the world.

VerMoney (5th-8th)- One of the best things we can do for young people is to give them the skills and knowledge they will need in life, including financial literacy. Teaching students financial concepts early can positively influence how they manage their finances throughout their lives. This curriculum helps young people reflect on the differences between wants and needs and engages them in making choices about money.

Movie Education (5th-8th)-What kind of movies do you like? Animated? SciFi? Sports? Super Heroes? We got it! What do you like in a movie? Storyline? Special effects? Soundtrack? In Movie Open Doors, we will learn about what goes into making a movie, character development, the history of the film industry, and - of course - watch some classics! Grab a seat, grab some popcorn, and come join us for a festival of film at Movie Open Doors!

Acceptance letters and details will be emailed to the email address provided below, the Friday prior.

Sign up here! Registration will close on Wednesday, April 28th.

Masks must be worn at all times!
