MINECRAFT GROUP BLUE BLOCK CHALLENGE - COVERING MR. BROWN.

Mr. Brown volunteered to be bricked in with blue blocks. Success was achieved and then Mr. Brown broke free. Building was fun and so was being scared by Mr. Brown’s escape. Kids enjoy it when adults are a part of their playful experiences. 7-14-2021

SCREEN SHOT PICTURES

In the last few days video clips and interviews have been the focus. Some screenshots from these video clips are shown below to provide a window into school happenings in various camps.

CHEER CAMP

This group is proud of working together as a team to develop and improve their skills. They are looking forward to cheering for the in-house (just for camp) basketball game on Thursday morning, July-15-2021

HUMANITIES CAMP

Between discussions, readings and outdoor time, this group learned how to juggle on Tuesday, 7-13-2021

INCREDIBLES CAMP

This group has been reading an interesting book (read-aloud) and learning how to cook various foods. Here a camper slices the dough on a turtle-shaped bread loaf just before placing in the oven for baking.

TRAVELERS LEGOS

While ocean-related activities make up a good chunk of their camp day, the Travelers’ campers have also found time to enjoy building with legos. It is hard to go wrong with lego time. 7-13-2021.

SUNSHINE CAMP

This group shares circle time at the beginning of each day. Here they were trying to get rid of the grumpies by all making grumpy faces and then going around the circle one by one to change them into happy looks. 7-14-2021

TOWN BAY PARK CAMP

This group tried fishing first thing in the morning but were chased away from the docks by strong winds and splashing waves. Instead, they chose to play various versions of volleyball. The competition became fierce in a good-natured way. 7-14-2021

MINECRAFT CAMP

This group is relatively large compared to the other camp groups, and is divided into three clusters of kids. One group uses the computers to play on the minecraft video game platform. Another group does crafts and games. A third, plays with the blue blocks. They rotate between areas regularly.

BASKETBALL CAMP

This group is working hard on their skills in preparation for their exhibition game on Thursday. 7-14-2021

SAFARI AND CAMPING CAMP

The little ones in this group are learning camping skills during a portion of their day. At other times, they are doing a lot of free play and socializing, both of which are essential to their development.
