INVESTIGATORS CAMP - BOUDREAU, FITZGERALD, DOW, PELKEY, LAPOINTE

Friendship mobiles from earlier in the week. We also made nature lanterns and they look really cool all lit up.  There are some pictures of nature crowns we made as well.  Link to 9 Pictures. July 12th-15th, 2021.

BASKETBALL CAMP

It was hot outside on the last day of basketball camp. The athletes had a chance to go outside and play with water to cool down. Ms. Patty shared the picture. 7-15-2021.

DISCOVERY ART/FITNESS CAMP - MARRIN, BROWN, LUCAS

During their outside time on the last day of camp, this group made some truly giant bubbles. 7-15-2021. Link to 5 Pictures.

MINECRAFT CAMP "CREEPER" (Alka-Seltzer) ROCKETS - CAMERON-MUSCENTE, WEISBURGH, BROWN, MOSS, STEINHOUR, BENOIT

The Minecraft camp group has been talking about creepers all during camp session one. So, Ms. Cameron Muscente decided to have campers witness "exploding creepers" on the cafeteria patio on the last day of camp. Here is a video of that cool event. It is about a minute and a half long and goes quickly.

Here are More Minecraft Camp Pictures shared by Ms. Cameron-Muscente

CIRCUS CAMP PERFORMANCE - KOSKI, CLAVELLE, BLAKE, MCNULTY

The campers had practiced their movement skills and routines for two weeks and were very excited to perform in front of an audience. Other young camper groups and a range of adults attended for the fairly short event. Some photos and video clips are provided for families and other summer campers to check out. Link to Images.

COOKING AND OLYMPICS CAMP - PIZARRO, CAIN, BOLIO, CAIN

This group enjoyed some outdoor games on their last day of camp. In the game pictured below, the campers were paired up and had to toss a water balloon back and forth. After each successful toss to each other, one of the pairs stepped backward putting more distance between them. Eventually, wobbly throws and limited catching abilities meant that the balloons blew apart on the ground. There was a lot of smiling, squealing, and jumping during the game. 7-15-2021

INCREDIBLES BRIDGE CHALLENGE - COUTTS, DIFRANCO, STOUT, MARTIN

The Incredibles camp shared a few pictures of a natural-item bridge building challenge the campers completed. Link to 3 Pictures.   7-15-2021

TRAVELERS - LEWIS, CULLIGAN, MINCHIN, BESSETTE

This camp came to an end with an outdoor ocean carnival. There were many games and activities to participate in. The one shown below was the “toss the sponge” at the shark activity. Mr. Lewis was the target and great fun was had by all participants trying to bean him.  Link to 8 Pictures.  7-15-2021

Link to 175 Pictures shared by ocean camp staff over the two-week camp.

SUNSHINE CAMP - RANKIN, STEVENS, ASATO-DITCH, PARKER, QUINN, DITCH

This group shared some tent camping pictures. Link to 8 Pictures. 7-14-2021

STORY REPOSTED FROM LAST FRIDAY

BASKETBALL AND CHEER CAMPS EXHIBITION GAME - DUPONT, ALLEN, LEBLANC, GARCIA, ROULEAU

On the last day of summer camps session one (Thursday, July 15th), the basketball team and cheer team combined efforts to put on a game. The majority of other camp groups were able to attend and everyone had a blast. With all the excitement and joy bubbling up in the room it could have been an NBA final game. Although the kids were very nervous before the game started, they seemed able to focus and have fun when playing. Popcorn was available for those who wanted it.  Link to 112 Pictures.

HUMANITIES CAMP BLOG - BASHAW, CHISHOLM

The humanities camp has been up and running since 2015. Here is the link to their blog with lots of pictures and information about the camps.
