TRIUMPH ADVENTURE CAMP - MARRIN & BROOMHALL

Mid-morning Thursday, July 22nd, this group of campers went out to make giant bubbles. Mr. Marrin found an excellent bubble-making recipe for maximum size. The group split up into three groups and took turns dipping their bubble twine and sticks into tubs of liquids. Check out their impressive bubble-making results. Link to 31 Pictures.







MONARCH BUTTERFLY SPOTTED

Our school has made a commitment to support monarch butterflies because they are suffering from habitat loss. They need milkweed as a food source and consequently our students and gardeners have gone out of their way to keep milkweed in our garden spaces. It is exciting when a monarch butterfly is spotted. Mr. Marrin sent in a picture of this one he spotted on school property on July 22nd.

EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PERSONNEL (ESP) EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

St. Albans City School is looking to fill Educational Support Personnel (ESP) positions. Qualified candidates must be collaborative team members and have a passion for children. Individuals will work with research-based intervention strategies and support differentiated classroom settings to meet the needs of our students. Behavior management skills and knowledge of Conscious Discipline is a plus. Ability to support students in feeling as if they belong and are held accountable. Associates Degree or equivalent.
