IMAGINATION 3RD GRADE MATH - KOLDYS

Ms. Koldys’ students were figuring out to group and add items as well as make equations to explain the way each person chose to do so. Students were encouraged to come to the board and share their math strategies. Ms. Koldys made sure to encourage every child and notice their many successes.  Link to 34 Pictures. 9-3-2021.

HOPE (Hands on Practical Education)  MAKING SALSA - DESLAURIERS & HOBEN

After gathering locally grown ingredients, Mr. Deslauriers and Mr. Hoben taught five students how to make a tasty salsa from scratch. Fresh tomatoes were dipped briefly in hot water to make their skin removal easier. Then peppers, onions and garlic were chopped. These ingredients were added to a large pot along with salt and various spices. After cooking on the school’s cooking cart, the whole mix was blended together and placed in jars. The students enjoyed tasting the product of their labor. They also enjoyed gaining a range of basic cooking skills.  Link to 32 Pictures. 9-3-2021

INCREDIBLES - MANGIS
During their morning walk on September 2, 4th grade Incredibles noticed that leaves were falling.
