PICTURES BFA GUIDANCE VISITED WITH 8TH GRADERS - JAN-27-2022 Five members of the guidance team at BFA came to St. Albans City School to talk to students about signing up for next year’s courses and what to expect when attending BFA. They made attending BFA sound exciting and manageable. Students were asked to go home and immediately fill in two forms that prioritize their learning interests. These are to be returned to their teachers on Friday or early next week. For those who were unable to attend the meetings at SACS in-person, a 40 minute-long video was made of the presentation given to the Team USA students. Link to the video. Guidance Staff Photos of BFA Enrollment packet (folder) handed to each 8th-grader to take home. Forms to be filled in with parents or guardians. ADVENTURERS THANK YOU CARDS - BORCH Ms. Borch’s PreK & K students walked to the cafeteria to thank Ms. Wendy for making the chocolate cake with strawberry icing last week. BACK IN TIME PHOTO FOR 8TH GRADERS - CLASS OF 2022 Fun activity for Explorers students who were asked to pass water backwards over their heads as quickly as possible while trying not to spill the contents. 8TH GRADE BABY PICTURES The yearbook committee is collecting baby pictures from 8th graders. Please find a picture to have posted in this year’s book. If you don’t have one from the first year of life, then consider turning in one from the first six years or so (example - as a kindergarten student). We would like a "baby-picture" from every 8th grader. Digital copies can be sent directly to Mr. Craib at mcraib@maplerun.org If you want to bring in a hard-copy photo you can give it to your teacher. Mr. Craib will scan the photo immediately and return it to you the day you bring it in. The picture below is of a student from a previous 8th grade group in the last few years.  |
