PICTURES

DREAMERS SNOWSHOE WALK - BROGLE

Ms. Brogle and Ms. Lindstedt on a daunting challenge on Friday morning. They suited up their kindergarten students and got everyone placed into sets of snowshoes while keeping the group happy. Not easy with this age group on a wintery morning. Then they launched out onto the soccer fields and nature pathways in snowy, windy and 12 degree conditions. They had a blast.  Link to 8 Pictures.

STRINGED INSTRUMENT PRACTICE WITH MR. CHARPENTIER

Mr. Charpentier worked with four students in the library, early Friday morning (1-28-2022).  Link to 12 Pictures.

TRAVELERS - RANKIN & CULLIGAN

Students built a variety of different lego structures on Thursday afternoon (1-27-2022). Some followed detailed robot plans, others made their own creations. Link to 12 Pictures.

TOBACCO AND VAPING INFORMATION

Health educator, Ms. Garcia, invited Amy Brewer from the Northwestern Medical Center to come and have a discussion with 7th and 8th graders about tobacco use and vaping. The goal of the discussions with different groups on Friday, January 28th, was to have students become informed about what is and is not known about these products. Ms. Garcia and the school understand that some students are being faced with access to use these products now and they could well encounter the products again during high school.

MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP

Last Fall, students in the school’s music program were informed of a scholarship opportunity to help take their musical ability to another level. From the many applicants around the state who applied for the scholarship five were chosen. USA student and Seventh grader, Sam Luneau, is one of them. This short facebook video clip shows this year's recipients. Congratulations.

8th GRADERS BACK IN TIME PICTURE

October 14th, 2015. A Walking Wednesday.

8TH GRADE BABY PICTURES

The yearbook committee is collecting baby pictures from 8th graders. Please find a picture to have posted in this year’s book. If you don’t have one from the first year of life, then consider turning in one from the first six years or so (example - as a kindergarten student). We would like a "baby-picture" from every 8th grader.

Digital copies can be sent directly to Mr. Craib at mcraib@maplerun.org

If you want to bring in a hard-copy photo you can give it to your teacher. Mr. Craib will scan the photo immediately and return it to you the day you bring it in.

The picture below is of a student from a previous 8th grade group in the last few years.
