BOOKS TO LIFE FIELD TRIP TO THE ST. ALBANS FREE LIBRARY - HUBER

Campers were introduced to different types of books in the youth section and how to search for a book in the library. They finished their visit with a craft. Students did sand art and created their own illustrations and stories in booklets provided. Curiosity and imagination flourished. All students now have a library card and checked out some books as we left. The woman at reception commented on how polite they all were before the camp group ventured to Taylor park for a picnic lunch.

NOT JUST ART - LEWIS, CULLIGAN

These campers had just finished breakfast and were enjoying some free play time. 7-13-2022. Link to 20 Pictures

BOARD GAMES AND NON TRADITIONAL CAMPS

The two camp groups worked together on Wednesday, July 13th. The board games group had created several homemade board games that they wanted to test and share. The non-traditional camp visited their room and tried out the games. Shortly after that experience, the groups went outside to enjoy a pizza party picnic under some shade trees near the playground.

NATURE CAMP - LAWYER

Ms. Lawyer removed the tricycles from storage so that the youngest campers can enjoy them on nice days. She shared a bunch of trike riding pictures (26) at this link

Ms. Lawyer also provided pictures of the campers involved in a movement activity on Tuesday.  Link to 10 Pictures.

ERNIE DUNCAN BASKETBALL CAMP

On Wednesday, 7-13-2022, the basketball camp had a guest instructor. Campers got a chance to experience a whole range of training drills that will help them better their game playing ability.  Link to 36 Pictures and Video Clips.

GEOCACHING CAMP - WIGHT, JARVIS

We braved the rain and mud and went hunting for animals at Hardack, using GPS coordinates!!  Tuesday, 7-12-2022.
