CHEER CAMP

The instructors took a video of the culminating cheer event for their camp. The campers performed beautifully.  Link to 1.3 minute long video.

MARCHING BAND CAMP

On the final day of summer camp, the marching band gave two performances to family members and other camp groups. The first was a drill down event where campers had to accurately follow verbal directions for movements. Those who made an error were asked to step aside until the last camper was left standing. The second performance showcased the campers ability to march around the field smoothly while playing their instruments. The campers demonstrated excellent development given the early stage of their musical careers and the short amount of time available to learn their skills. 7-14-2022

MINECRAFT - CAMERON MUSCENTE

Here are more pictures from the last few days of Minecraft. This batch includes pictures of our trip to the Maritime Museum and the replica of Lois McClure completed in Minecraft. The campers posed their characters on the Lois McClure in Minecraft.  Link to 200 Pictures.

SOCCER CAMP

This group had a lot of fun playing with each other over the last few weeks. On the last day of camp, the campers put on a soccer playing demonstration for families. They showed a lot of heart. As is typical for this age group, they tended to clump together as they followed the ball around the field. Check out the photos and video of their game.

COOKING CAMP BAKE SALE

Each day of the two-week camp, the cooking camp kids and adults made delicious baked products. These were carefully stored and brought out for a massive bake sale on the last day of camp, 7-14-2022. As family members and people throughout the school building entered the cafeteria they were offered four bake-sale dollar bills. Each bill could be used to buy a bake sale item. There were lots of happy visitors to the bake sale and lots of proud campers sharing their products.

HUMANITIES CAMP AT ARBORTREK

The theme of the camp this year has been ‘Survival’. So, it was fitting that the camp group took an amazing field trip to Arbortrek (near Smuggler’s Notch) to safely test their climbing skills and fear of heights. Arbortrek has an array of zip lines and climbing and balancing challenges located in a forest setting. The participants had a great time.  Here is a link to 64 pictures and video clips, mostly taken by Ms. Chisholm, one of the camp leaders.
