PICTURES CHICKENS AND GARDENS Campers rotated between activities for variety and joy. Link to 19 Pictures. Mr. Rouleau successfully guided these very young campers through the task of weeding a variety of garden vegetables. They were enthusiastic and helpful. Mr. Cioffi and a batch of campers headed out onto a loop of the walking path while it was cool and pleasant outside. 7-19-2022 COMMUNITY SERVICE CAMP - KITTEN VISIT Ms. Vaillancourt dropped by the camp to share a visit with five 10-day-old kittens she is fostering. She explained how the kittens had been abandoned by the mom and were now being raised by her over the next two months old when they will put up for adoption. Ms. Vaillancourt has to feed them warm milk every three to four hours. Between feedings the kittens snuggle with a stuffed toy cat that has a little device designed to mimic the sound of a beating mother cat’s heart and a heating pad that helps then stay warm. Both kids and adults were very pleased with the visit. Link to 20 Pictures. READERS OF THE PACK CAMP We made squirrels after reading “Those Darn Squirrels” (Ms. Dussault and Mrs. V). Right hand picture. GROSSOLOGY After breakfast and some time playing various board games, the camp divided into three groups to make zombie guts. They used kits and instructions to guide their work.
