NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT A SERVICE DOG IN OUR BUILDING SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT AND ROCK REMOVAL Over the summer the sidewalk near the playground was replaced with a wider walkway that is leveled with the grass around it. In addition, the rocks around the playground and along our walkways were removed. While the rocks were sometimes fun to play with, they were a mowing hazard and source of irritation. We like the change. BUILDING CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE The facilities staff worked really hard over the summer cleaning classrooms and doing basic maintenance. We thank them for their work that prepared us for the start of the school year. STAFF PREPARATION Teachers and other staff members have also been working hard to prepare for the new year. Classrooms had to be set up, schedules made and training sessions completed. It has been a busy week prior to the arrival of students.
