PICTURES There won't be many pictures for a few days until media permission lists are created. OPEN HOUSE It has been years without parents being able to enter most of the building for an important events. With the rain outdoors during open house, many parents chose to enter the school through the front entrance and make their way to their students' classrooms. Near the entrance, tables for busing, nursing, scouting, music and much more were staffed for parents who had questions. The entrance hallways were constantly busy. Thank you to all the families who came out to get introduced to the school staff, their student's classrooms and teachers of their students.  FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL There was a lot of excitement Wednesday as students arrived and got settled into the routines of their classrooms. Assistant principal Rouleau and Mr. Craib went around to each classroom in the morning with a huge school bus balloon. Mr. Craib took photos of the the students interested in being in group photos on the first day of school. This is what the balloon looked like and how some kids enjoyed being photographed next to it.  |
