Link to Video DISCOVERY FIELD TRIP TO HARD’ACK The team got lucky for their morning walk to and around Hard’ack. Their walk was scheduled during a block of clear weather between rain in the morning and midday. Everyone formed a line and then walked through the middle of the city and up Congress street to the entrance for Hard’ack at the Governor’s way park. After a brief snack break, the team climbed to the top of the ski hill before checking out 100+ year old graffiti on the ridgeline, the wolf monument further down the ridgeline and the overlook on the west side of Hard’ack showcasing the city. They returned to school via Isham, Newton and Elm streets. On this field trip they encountered steep hills, slippery rocks, and some bugs. They also experienced Hard’ack at one of the most beautiful times of the year. Link to Pictures. Link to 24 Pictures.
