NAMING A SNOW PLOW

The State of Vermont is once again letting schools name the snow plows. Our Kindergarten students have come up with 6 names. Our whole school will now vote on the names to come up with the one we will give to the state.  Each class will vote during morning meeting, and your teacher will post your results in the survey they received.  All voting must be done by noon on Tuesday and our winner will be announced Wednesday morning. The names you are voting on are;

Plowasaurus

Snow Yeti

SNOWZILLA

Snowblast King

Hulk Snow Smasher

Snow Ninja

PICTURES

TEAM USA CELL SCIENCE - ROULEAU

Students swabbed cells from the inside of their cheeks to examine with microscopes at 40x and 400x magnification. The samples were placed on small glass pieces and placed on the microscopes. After looking through the eyepieces and drawing pictures showing what the cells looked like, the students were given free reign to examine samples of their own hair and fingernails which they found fascinating. Link to 29 Pictures.

TRAVELERS - COX

The students in Ms. Cox’s classroom had completed a successful math lesson. To finish out the period, students were rewarded with a short math-game-focused lesson on their computers. Link to 12 Pictures.

Horah! Hooray!

We’ve finally reached the day!

So wait no more

 it’s the SCHOOL STORE!

Horah! Horah! Hooray!

Dear Families,

The Voyager Team is excited to reopen the Raider’s Treasure Chest! Though most things are the same there are a few changes. We are not open for students during their lunch. Teams will need to set up a time for their students to shop. We are also limiting students to no more than two items per visit. Most items are priced under a dollar and no item is priced over two dollars. If you choose to have your child shop at the school store they would need no more than a dollar or two.

The goal of the school store is to provide all of our students with experience handling money and balancing needs with wants.  For school store employees there is also the chance to order, stock, and interact with the public. Our students are incredibly proud of the store. We work hard to provide inexpensive products

We also have students working on researching greener products and packaging as well. The school store is a part of the Voyager experience and we hope it will be a part of yours as well.
