Tuesday: Crazy Hair and Hat Day

Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday

Thursday: Sports Team Day

This year, it's Students vs. Teachers -- lets see which group has the highest participation!

Athletics

The 5/6 boys teams have games this weekend here at City School.  The first game begins at 8:00 a.m. and the second game begins at 10:00.  They would love to see you there.  Wish the 5/6 Raiders good luck today.

Box Tops Competition

Well Done on another great week in our competition, City School Community!  There seemed to be a slow down in the momentum in Week 5, but we still collected 424 Box Tops!

Here is the competition breakdown by Learning Community:

Now here is your math challenge:  Our leading team (Bright Beginnings) has collected 1,590 Box Tops.  The next closest team (Investigators) has collected 1,232 Box Tops.  How many Box Tops do the Investigators need to collect in the 6th and final week of the competition to take the lead?

Keep clipping those Box Tops and good luck to all communities.  Everyone is doing a great job supporting this school-wide sustainable fundraising effort.  Remember, this is the last week to collect for the contest!  But don't forget about our contest within the contest:

Are you looking to get a boost for your Learning Community's Box Tops for Education Collection Totals?

Valentine Dance Tonight for Grades 6, 7 and 8

PAG 2013 is hosting the Valentine Dance tonight. It's from 7:00-9:00pm and it's $3 to get in. We will have a photo booth, and some games to play along with great music and fun snacks for purchase.

Arrival and Dismissal from Dances:

Students enter through the gymnasium doors and sign themselves into the dance.

School Expectations (Safe, Achieving, Caring) remain at all evening events and that includes dances.

At the end of our dances, chaperones and staff will walk students through the building to our front lobby. We will dismiss from there.

Please be prompt for pick up as staff and chaperones need to get home too. If your student does not have a ride home, please don’t send them to our dances unless they have made arrangements before coming to the dance.
