News from Music




Miss Gelfon's 7/8 Chorus and Mrs. Cameron-Muscente's Guitar class held a concert for the first through third grade students before the break. 




Band

Jr. Band will be rehearsing tomorrow at 12:15.

Full Orchestra will be rehearsing tomorrow afternoon. 


6th grade violins are today at 12:30.

Don't forget that today is walk to school day 
Check the map to determine which route goes closest to your home and what time you will need to be outside to meet the walking school bus.

Open Doors


The following Open Doors classes meet today, Wednesday, December 3rd 
  • Drumming for Success (Remember we have a second drumming class on Thursday.  Master Steve Ferraris will be visiting the class today.  He is very excited to meet the students and drum with them!  Did you bring in your permission slip for the Drumming performance at City Hall this Saturday, December 6th
  • Playwriting and Puppet Workshop
        Session B students taking Playwriting will board bus #6 NOT bus #4 at 3:10.  Playwriting   students will check in with Open Doors at bus #6 before boarding the bus.
  • Hip Hop
          Important reminder about Hip Hop

      At 2:40 dismissal Session A students enrolled in Hip Hop will go to the Kindness Center  (the room we danced in last week which is upstairs in the first hallway on the right hand side.)

      At 3:10 dismissal Session B students enrolled in Hip Hop will go to the cafeteria.  
          

All session A students taking Open Doors classes go to the cafeteria at 2:45 dismissal.


It is very important that all students riding the buses after school follow the bus expectations.

Operation Happiness



In total, we have collected 2,051 non perishable items, that is 62% of our goal. We have until Thursday to complete our goal of 3,334 non perishable items. It looks like Voyagers are going to win the Gates's Fudge Ice Cream Party. Keep bringing in more items to help your team win and to support Franklin County.
