Summer School Program Schedule
One more week of Summer School remains. Session 3 8/7-8/10, Monday—Thursday, 8:00—12:00



EVENTS

Hi Everyone!

A few students have requested a SPIRIT WEEK for our last week of summer school - so for those who would like to participate:

Monday - Crazy Hair and Hat day
Tuesday - Raider Pride! (blue and white)
Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday
Thursday - Superhero Day




    MONDAY
    Read aloud by Clif. Kids will get to choose a book to keep for themselves. Event location - in the Library.
    9:30-10:15 - Grades 1-3 and Kaleidoscope
    10:30-11:30 - Grades 4-8 and Connections



    THURSDAY
    Next week, the 3rd grade will present "The Garden Show" in the big gym at 10:30. All are invited! The show is about half an hour long.

    COMPOSTING OUR FOOD WASTE
    St. Albans City School is committed to being good stewards of the earth as well as ourselves and the community.  One way we do this is by composting our food waste and recycling paper, plastic, glass and metal waste as often as possible.  Another way we do it is to have kids place clean uneaten food and milk/juice in the cafeteria share fridge.  Then, if any child is still hungry after a meal is served they can top up on that food rather than it going to waste. 

    The Open Doors and Summer School directors, Mrs. Sawyer and Mrs. Jehle are striving to keep our students waste reduction skills sharp over the summer weeks here.  You can see what this means in the pictures below.
