EVENTS
Hi Everyone!
A few students have requested a SPIRIT WEEK for our last week of summer school - so for those who would like to participate:
Tuesday - Raider Pride! (blue and white) Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday Thursday - Superhero Day 
This week the 3rd grade will present "The Garden Show" in the big gym at 10:30. All are invited! The show is about half an hour long.

SUMMER PROGRAMMING REPORTS AND PICTURES
PRACTICAL USE OF FRACTIONS 7th & 8th graders worked with Ms. Martinson, Mr. Rouleau, and Ms. Fox to explore their understanding of fractions in a real-life setting, a kitchen. Clusters of students worked together to follow a detailed recipe for making chocolate-chip cookies from scratch. The cookies were baked and tasted, all with success. Students got to take a plateful home with them at the end of the summer school day.

TAG FITNESS ACTIVITY WITH MR. KONRAD The best way to get kids running a ton and not thinking about it as exercise is to play versions of tag. These pictures show two different games.

 DAILY MEAL PREPARATION CARRIES ON Jason at work 8-8-2017  STAFF ARE STILL WORKING HARD TO READY THE SCHOOL Even though their duties can be hard at times, the staff still find a way to smile every day. We are grateful for their work and their good humor.
