PICTURES AND REPORTS
VETERANS DAY WALK/RUN Thank you everyone for coming out and participating in the first annual Veterans Day Walk/Run events. Team USA was kind enough to orchestrate the races. In spite of cold and windy conditions and some chaos, students approached the event with enthusiasm. It was fun to see so many great performances along with smiling faces and support for each other on this big day. Many pictures were taken and most of those will be shared Monday. These PreK/K pictures are what was possible to process on Thursday. LINK TO 30 PICTURES This is a picture of the 4-6th graders running their mile EXPLORERS Explorer students worked with Ms. Bertucci this week to design and create a stamp for their Economics unit. They created several prototypes out of different materials. One stamp was made out of wood and cut on the laser cutter. The other stamp was 3D printed with flexible filament. It took several attempts to create a stamp that was up to their standards. Their next task will be to test them out to see which one works better and then come back to the Makerspace to create enough stamps to decorate their origami boxes. These students were very patient during this process, way to go Explorers! |
