EVENTS OR NOTICES
WALKING WEDNESDAY IS TOMORROW! THE WEATHER SHOULD BE REALLY NICE AGAIN. Hop on your bike, ride your scooter or simply walk into school. Consider not riding the bus or getting a ride to school in your family car. These days are too pleasant to spend time in a vehicle. RECESS SHED At least half the balls have disappeared from the recess shed. Have they migrated to your learning communities? If so, please bring them back to the shed so that everyone can enjoy them. Also, remember that the last learning community outside before bus departure could pick up and return the recess equipment to the shed. Thank you. ARTWORK CONTEST
School artists take note: the 8th-grade planning committee is putting on an art competition for artwork to go on the front the graduation ceremony program. The art must include 8th grade class of 2018 and St. Albans city school. The competition runs May 21st through 25th.
Thank you, the 8th Grade planning committee.

PICTURES AND REPORTS
VISIT WITH MR. ROLAND WILHELM
Many of you may remember our former teacher and colleague Mr. Roland. A little over a year ago he experienced a stroke that left him partially paralyzed. He has been recovering with the help of his sisters and caregivers. A pedaling wheelchair makes 1-2 miles of travel along the sidewalks and bike path possible each day. Four students had a wonderful visit with Mr. Roland last week at the facility where he resides. He loves dogs and very much enjoyed the company of the one that accompanied the visitors. Mr. Roland wanted the visitors to convey his greetings and well wishes to all of us in the St. Albans City School community. |
