The blueberry bush is a relative of the rhododendron -- and the azalea. And along with more intuitive lines, also the cranberry.
Blueberries protect against memory loss.
A 2012 study suggested that eating at least one serving of blueberries a week slowed brain function decline by several years. One possible explanation as to why came from a 2013 study in mice, which found that berries might protect the brain by clearing toxic proteins that accumulate there. REFERENCE

PICTURES AND REPORTS
STUDENT REPRESENTATION AT DYNAMIC LANDSCAPES Champlain College hosted a huge tech gathering for teachers and students on Monday and Tuesday this week (5/21 and 5/22). The tech staff that attended from our school included Ms. Bertucci, Ms. Borst and Ms. Tagliamonte. On Monday they brought along three students to represent St. Albans City School. The students showcased learning experiences they had this year in the makerspace at St. Albans City School. They also got a chance to see what the tech industry is offering teachers and students, and they were able to see what other schools are doing.

DAY OLD CHICKS IN KINDERGARTEN
Every year the kindergarten students incubate chicken eggs and hatch little chicks in their classrooms. The hatching day arrived on Monday 5-21-2018 and dozens of little chicks are now getting used to being out of their shells. Here are a few pictures of them during the first day in Mr. Lewis and Ms. Lawyer's classrooms.
