We are down to 4 balls of any kind. 25 balls have been added to the shed this spring, half of them brand new. That does not include 5 tennis balls that disappeared in the first week of good weather. BAND
Many thanks to the beginning strings and to the senior orchestra for a great performance last night at the UA wing ding.
Orchestra lessons and rehearsals are now over for the school year.
Jazz Band is not rehearsing tomorrow afternoon.

WALKING PATH LAPS COUNT DOUBLE ON SCIENCE TESTING DAYS FOR THE WALKING PATH CONTEST. CHEER CAMP Anyone from Kindergarten-5th Grade who is interested in being a part of a cheer camp this summer, please contact Ms. Lovely in Renaissance or email her at tlovely@maplerun.org. There are a few papers to get filled in. ARTWORK CONTEST
School artists take note: the 8th-grade planning committee is putting on an art competition for artwork to go on the front the graduation ceremony program. The art must include 8th grade class of 2018 and St. Albans city school. The competition runs May 21st through 25th.

WALKING WEDNESDAY RESULTS
210 students and 23 adults turned out for Walking/biking Wednesday. It was very impressive seeing everyone converging on school all at once.
Teachers from Triumph, Voyagers and Incredibles were observed joining their students in an effort to boost participation. Triumph, the Walking Wednesday leader during the previous two weeks, was definitely the leading team again. The vast majority of their students (47 out of 64) and all of the teachers were able to walk or bike. Super job.

FITNESS TESTING

  TOUCHING THE CHICKS All the kindergarten communities are giving their children an opportunity to touch the baby chicks. Mrs. Lawyer's and Mrs. Williams' kids were photographed outside their classrooms gently holding the chicks.
