PICTURES DISCOVERY 6TH GRADE CIRCUIT SCIENCE - BERTUCCI & MARRIN Ms. Bertucci led the class through a lesson in how to connect circuits of batteries, wires, switches and LED light bulbs to create light on demand. When this had been figured out, she taught the students how to use the length of time the lights were lit to represent either 0’s or 1’s. Then, by stringing these 1’s and 0’s together into groups of five she showed students how letters of the alphabet could be represented. Following that, she had student share words or messages with each other using the light circuit they had previously built. So much learning took place in this class session. 12-15-2022. WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA What is Wreaths Across America? It is a program where we honor deceased veterans by putting wreaths on their graves. Team USA is working with local Veterans groups to enhance the tradition throughout our community. Students will be holding a ceremony on December 16th at Mt Calvary Cemetery in St. Albans, VT.
