PICTURES AND REPORTS
AUTISM AWARENESS DAY - APRIL 2nd April 2nd is the day to celebrate autism awareness around the USA each year. Ms. Mailhotte and Ms. Stout created puzzle piece clips that could be attached to a badge or clothing and handed them out to their learning communities (Travelers and Incredibles). The Kaleidoscope team also received the clips. The puzzle pieces are colored in traditional blue, red and yellow. Kaleidoscope staff handed out stickers that also celebrated this special day.
FRESH MAPLE SYRUP TASTING
Droves of Pre-K and kindergarten students stopped by the St. Albans City School sugar shack to taste freshly made maple syrup on Tuesday 4-2-2019. The sap used to make the syrup was collected from trees in front of the school and from the back end of the school property. The students in the first three pictures are from Ms. Walsh's classroom group. The next pictures are of Ms. Koski's students. Mr. Deslauriers and Mr. Hoben, from program HOPE, orchestrated the tasting sessions.
TRIUMPH STUDENTS GATHERED MAPLE SAP
Team Triumph has maple sugaring as their key stewardship project. On Tuesday morning 4-2-2019 five students helped P.E. teacher Mr. Branon gather sap from the buckets hanging from trees located just outside the Calvary cemetery. LINK TO 19 PICTURES
