PICTURES AND REPORTS TIME CAPSULE CONTENT GUESSES continued LINK TO SHORT VIDEO TEAM USA STUDENTS EXPRESSED WHAT THEY ARE THANKFUL FOR LINK TO SHORT VIDEO OPERATION HAPPINESS COLLECTION UPDATE SWITCHYARD MOBIL GRANT Each year the Exxon Mobil Corporation Educational Alliance Program makes funding available to schools to aid programs focusing on technology, math, and science. The manager, Terry Hatterick, of Switchyard Mobil on Lake Street requested $500 to be directed to St. Albans City School. On Monday, 11-25-2019, she came to our school with an associate, Willie Perretta, to deliver the check. Assistant principal, Ms. Stacie Rouleau, and some of the 7/8 and Travelers students were present to receive the grant funds. Thank you Switchyard Mobil. NUTCRACKER BACKDROP CREATION Students continued to work hard on the backgrounds for the Nutcracker to be presented in December.  LINK TO 13 PICTURES DREAMERS PREK COTTAGE MORNING GROUP Ms. LeBlanc's crew of kids suited up and headed out to the little playground for recess before departing for the day. ATHLETICS There has been a change to a few handfuls of practices for 5/6 boys and girls. ALL 5/6 boys practice that were originally scheduled to be before 4 pm are now changed and the girls will move to the after school slot. Please double check your times! OPEN DOORS Session one of Open Doors is over.  There will be no Open Doors, Monday Makeup or Tutoring this Nov 25th and Nov 26th. EVENTS AND NOTICES ST. ALBANS CITY SCHOOL  & OPERATION HAPPINESS Renaissance is managing the annual Operation Happiness food collection drive. They started collecting on November 18th and will keep on doing so until December 5th. Our school's goal is to collect 1,500 items.
