LETTER TO FAMILIES

FROM THE PRINCIPAL AND ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Dear St. Albans City School Family,

Over the next few days, we will be posting information about where we are right now and what you will need to know. We will utilize this Daily Announcement page as the on-going vehicle to provide you important information and updates.

To start we want to share the following calendar information for the month of April.

April 13th is the day we switch to remote learning. For many of you this will not look very different. We will be sharing information with you about our new Remote Learning Site in the Weekend edition of our Daily Announcements.
The week of April 13th is normally Learning Showcases. We are not having Learning Showcases at this time. We will, however, have student portfolios completed by the end of the year.
On April 17th the current school calendar has ‘no school’. We will be keeping with that schedule. Our teachers will be reflecting on the first week of remote learning, while families get a break.
The following week, April 20th to April 24th, is April break, We are having April Break this year as planned. However, we will continue our meal distribution during April Break. Meals will go out Monday the 20th and Thursday the 23rd. Again, if you would like to be added to our meal delivery route please contact Jennifer Seymour at 527-0565.

Thank you for all that you are doing. We know how challenging this time is for everyone. We are so lucky to be part of a supportive school family and community. Be sure to read our Daily Announcements. We are here to support you.

NOTE FROM THE NURSES

Hello families,

If your child has their back up inhaler, Epi-pen or emergency medication at school but it would be helpful for you to have at home please contact the nurses to form a plan for it to be picked up.
