VOYAGERS 6TH GRADE GRADUATION VIDEO This is the video of Monday's (June 8th) surprise celebration of the Voyagers 6th graders who are graduating to 7th grade. Two students weren't able to be there, so we will try and film something with them in the coming days and update the video. For now, here is what we have. CONGRATULATIONS TO 8TH GRADE GRADUATES (former Voyagers) PUTTING PACKED MEALS ON THE BUSES Twice a week a dedicated group of volunteers hastily place food on buses for two rounds of delivery to school families. On the day these pictures were taken, there was a serious threat of rain and people were moving rapidly. Bags of food had been organized the previous day and that morning and placed in a refrigerator truck parked beside the school. When the volunteers arrived late morning, the transfer of food to the bus from the truck took only five to ten minutes per bus delivery round. The Investigators team gathered outside the school to deliver contents left in the classrooms to their students. 6-12-2020 Families drove by to collect the items belonging to them. "One of our third-grade friends brought a "new student" to say goodbye." ADVENTURERS Adventurers Teachers gathered to send off their students. June 12th. STUDENT BIRTHDAYS Families, feel free to share a picture (or provide permission for the school to find a picture) to go next to a birthdate. mcraib@maplerun.org BIRTHDAYS JUNE 2020
