ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THURSDAY,  JUNE 18th

IMPORTANT MEALS INFORMATION We will be delivering meals through June 29th, every Monday and Thursday. Monday, June 29th will be the last day of meal delivery using our buses. Meals will be available for pickup again starting July 6th and then daily through August.  We will have a map of pickup sites posted in the next few weeks.

CONTENT FROM FAMILIES AND FROM SCHOOL RETIREMENT PARADE With nine retirees, and with most of them experiencing decades of connections with students and staff, there was a large turnout to see them off.  Eileen Nikel - 41 years Helene Biggie 40 years Sandy Scott - 33 years Sheryl Aliquo - 32 years Kathleen Williams - 21 years Sue Wade - 20 years Kathy Debari - 16 years Joy Walsh - 16 years Peg Jehle - 16 years The retirees were lined up on the concrete sidewalk in front of the school. Well-wishers first gathered near the community pool before they slowly drove by the guests of honor. Various volunteers gathered gifts and cards from the passing vehicles to share with the retirees. The parade took about an hour to complete with perhaps 75 or more cars passing through the designated circuit. It was a sunny and festive occasion and a wonderful way to appreciate these skilled and hard-working teachers. Paula Wight pulled off the very successful event with help from some of the on-going St. Albans City Schoolteachers. Thank you to everyone who attended and who assisted.
