PARENT COMMUNITY COUNCIL We are holding our first Parent Community Council Meeting Thursday, February 18th at 5:30 pm. We look forward to having our parents that have been with us since Kindergarten, whose children are now in 7th grade join us. We also welcome new families that want to be more involved in our school community and our families that have joined us over the years. Our meeting will be over Zoom. If you would like to join us, please fill in this form and we will send you a zoom invite. The form is just so that we can get you the zoom link without posting it on the website. This first PCC Meeting will focus on  Title I funds and how we spent Title I parent engagement funds,  Parent Engagement activities this year with a focus on what our families would like to have,  and a time for Questions and Conversation.  We look forward to spending some time together, even if it has to be over Zoom.

PICTURES RENAISSANCE - MARTINSON Ms. Martinson worked with a group of 7th graders who were making items out of clay or painting a mural on their classroom wall. 2-11-2021.  Link to 19 Pictures. NAVIGATORS (LAIDMAN) - ANDREWS The little gym has some space available for early-grade P.E. exercise classes on cold winter days. These pictures were taken on Thursday afternoon, 2-11-2021 during Ms. Andrews' PE class with Ms. Laidman’s students.  Link to 10 Pictures. FOOD DISTRIBUTION Ms. Minchin delivered bags of food to the Travelers’ classrooms, just as other staff members around the building were doing so at the same time elsewhere on Thursday afternoon, 2-11-2021. These bags of food are packed to go home several times a week with students at the end of their school day. DREAMERS - LEBLANC Ms. Burroughs assists Ms. LeBlanc with daily student instruction and guidance. She also likes to take pictures to document student’s learning in Ms. LeBlanc’s room. 8TH GRADER BABY PICTURES WANTED The yearbook committee would like 8th graders to submit baby pictures for the yearbook. It is best if you submit digital copies of your pictures to Mr. Craib at mcraib@maplerun.org. If you need to bring in the original image for scanning, you can give it to your teacher who will pass it on to Mr. Craib. The picture will be scanned as soon as it is received and immediately returned safely to the student.
