VERMONT GOLDEN DOME BOOK AWARD - vote for your favorite books Have you wondered what happened to the DCF Books this year?! Well, look no further! The Vermont Golden Dome Book Award* (formerly the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Book Award) was created to honor excellence in children's literature. Each year since 1957, Vermont students in grades four through eight have selected their favorite book from a list of nominees. It is recommended that students read at least five of the year's nominated titles before voting. Our SACS library has multiple copies of most of the books on this year’s list, so be sure to check them out today! Voting takes place this spring, beginning April 30th and ending May 28th. We will have a virtual celebration to vote and discuss all of the books we have been reading this year! Use this link to email Mrs. Levine and let her know that you would like to participate, connect, and vote for your favorite Vermont Golden Dome Book Award nominee!
