MRUSD DR. JOELLE VAN LENT FAMILY PRESENTATION   March 16, 2021 6:00pm  There is hope on the horizon and yet we remain very much in the midst of coping with the stress of the pandemic. Join us for a conversation with Dr. Joelle van Lent focused on the well-being of our children and ourselves as we continue to navigate this unique school year. Joelle will offer insights and strategies related to coping with ambiguous loss, rebalancing routines, and self-compassion. VOYAGERS WETLANDS SCAVENGER HUNT On Wednesday, the Voyagers presented a challenging scavenger hunt for learning communities to try out in the School’s wetlands. If you are interested in the hunt, you can find it at this link.

WEATHER TODAY Looking ahead, it seems like we should have four more days for using the snow tubes before the snow melts excessively. Thursday and Friday are expected be cold due to the wind so those could be marginal sledding days. Next week on Monday and Tuesday look better for sledding with warmer temperatures.  WEATHER ANTICIPATED OVER THE NEXT WEEK

STILL ACCEPTING 8TH GRADER BABY PICTURES It is best if you submit digital copies of your pictures to Mr. Craib at mcraib@maplerun.org. If you need to bring in the original image for scanning, you can give it to your teacher who will pass it on to Mr. Craib. The picture will be scanned as soon as it is received and immediately returned safely to the student.
