Last Full Day of School Monday, June 14th. Outdoor Open House: for students and families that are stepping up or moving back from Virtual Academy. Monday, June 14th. 5:00 - 6:00 PM Step-Up Day: for students that are stepping up to a new Learning Community (into grades K, 1, 4, 7) or returning from Virtual Academy. Tuesday, June 15th. Start time as normal. Buses leave school at 10:15 AM to bring students home and pick-ups will be from 10:20 - 10:30 AM. Inservice Day for Teachers and Staff Wednesday, June 16th. PICTURES INCREDIBLES 6TH GRADE BIKE TRIP It was sunny and beautiful and HOT. The riders took plenty of water breaks along the way and made it to the Casino picnic area by 11:00. The whole crew help up well for having to ride on a very toasty day. Link to 100 Pictures. 6-7-2021 NAVIGATORS KINDERGARTEN The Navigators have recently experienced farm life activities and Dairy in the Classroom. Ms. Asato-Ditch shared photos from Ms. Laidman’s and Ms. Lawyer's classrooms where students got to handle ducklings recently hatched at our school. ORCHESTRA INSTRUMENT TRYOUT SIGN UP Mr. Charpentier is the Maple Run School District's elementary and middle school orchestra teacher and he is looking to find 4-6th grade students interested in signing up. CARE PACKAGES TO SOLDIERS FROM ST. ALBANS CITY SCHOOL There are currently over 1,000 Vermont Army and Air Guard soldiers deployed around the world, performing various missions from Africa to Europe. Please help us in showing them support by giving a little hello from home by adding some items for care packages we will be sending in the next couple of weeks. THE LAST DAY OF COLLECTION IS WEDNESDAY, JUNE 9TH. Bins are located at the front of the school and will be collected by Team USA daily. Below are some of the items that soldiers have mentioned would be greatly appreciated:
Sometimes, a kind word of support and appreciation, a poem, or even a sketch or drawing mean just as much to a soldier far from home. We will also be collecting letters -- both to service members or their families – to show support and let them know we are thinking about them in these trying times. For the younger kids – soldiers love pictures and drawings – so please take a couple minutes to brighten the day for someone who is far from home. This will be an ongoing project so please keep the items and letters coming early and often. Any questions can be sent to Team USA Thank You |

To update, let us know by calling the school at 802-527-0565 and we will send you a new verification form. Please remember to sign the form so that we can make the change in our system. At our Open House on June 14th, we will be available to print verification forms so that updates can be made before this school year ends to ensure that you get all of the information on summer programs, summer meals, and the new school year! |
