ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th
COVID Update September 15, 2021 Dear St. Albans City School Families, Today we received information indicating that two members of our school community has tested positive for COVID 19. As part of our Health and Safety measures, we are having all unvaccinated students who may have been in close contact with this individual remain home until all quarantining requirements have been met. We have communicated with the affected students/staff via email or phone about their quarantine requirements. If you have not been contacted you or your children are not a close contact and you do not need to quarantine at this time.
We encourage all staff, students, and families to follow all the necessary COVID guidelines (wearing masks, staying home when sick, physical distancing, and handwashing) and communicate with one of our nurses if you or your children might have symptoms or have tested positive with COVID-19.

He also wants to help students understand how to evaluate information with a scientific eye. Before proceeding, he checked to see what they already knew about the scientific method with a quick written evaluation. This showed him and his students where to focus their learning in the next few days. Along with the discussion of science on Wednesday, Mr. Rouleau talked with students about career interests and how these can change over time as unexpected opportunities present themselves.
