PICTURES NAVIGATORS (EMMONS) PE - JARVIS The kindergarten students in Ms. Emmons's classroom had PE on Wednesday with Ms. Jarvis. She had them running, skipping, and hopping in half of the big gym space. Next, they played a game of planting and harvesting, which meant running around and knocking over or picking up cones. Half were assigned to the knocking down task, the other half picking up. Great fun was had by all the kids. She closed the class with a read-aloud story. Link to 39 Pictures. 9-15-2021 TEAM USA 7TH GRADE SCIENCE - ROULEAU Mr. Rouleau taught a lesson focused on understanding the concept of center of mass. To do so, he used an excellent online center of mass program, soda cans filled to about a ⅓ high with water, two forks, and a toothpick. There were some interesting lessons learned. Link to 8 Pictures. 9-20-2021 DREAMERS - DEDELL The classroom group enjoyed their time in the little playground Monday, September 20th. In one picture, children ran to keep up with Mr. Frank’s tractor as it passed by. Link to 16 Pictures. SATEC CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING RACE - JETTER, GRUDEV It was a lovely late afternoon for a race last week with bright sunshine and comfortable temperatures. The course was rugged and the SACS team gave it their best effort. Link to 34 Pictures. 9-16-2021 VOYAGERS BUTTERFLY RELEASE - BASHAW Like some other communities, Team Voyagers saw a monarch butterfly go from chrysalis to fully-fledged butterfly. Link to images.
