Dear St. Albans City School Families, The next three weeks are State testing time. These impact all students in grades 3 through 8. May 2-6 students in 5th and 8th grade are taking the Science test. May 9-13 students in 3rd-8th grade will test in Literacy, and May 16-20 they will test in Math. To support our students, we ask that parents encourage them to get plenty of rest and to be at school for the testing days. We find that students do much better on the original test day. We will be doing make-up tests for students that miss a test day. Thank you for supporting your children. |

Mayor Tim Smith will be joining us and will be on the route that starts at Fiddlehead Dental on Messenger Street at 6:50am. He will start walking from the senior center on Messenger street at 7:00am. |
TRAIN TRACK CROSSING Recently, students have been seen climbing between rail cars that were stopped on the train tracks near school. While it can be incredibly frustrating having to wait for a train to move out of the way and for the warning lights to go off, do not do it. Climbing over or under still or moving rail cars is dangerous. Thank you for being patient and waiting until it is safe to cross. |
The Library will be closed from May 9th to the 20th to support SBAC testing. Regularly scheduled library times will resume on the 23rd. Thank you! |
