GREEN STORMWATER INFRASTRUCTURE AND PRACTICES INFORMATIONAL NIGHT
Team USA students are preparing and hosting a Green Stormwater Infrastructure and Practices informational event for local residents and landowners at City School on May 12th from 6-7 pm in the school cafeteria. The purpose of the event is for the students to put into practice and apply the concepts they have been working on in class learning about watersheds, lake and stream ecosystems, and stormwater. They have learned how stormwater management impacts St. Albans Bay and will share that knowledge along with suggesting practices for supporting the overall health of the Bay. The format will be that students will be set up around the cafeteria with informational booths for community members to visit and have discussions about/with. All are welcome! |

It’s that time of year! The Vermont Golden Dome Book Award (formerly the Dorothy Canfield Fisher Book Award) was created to honor excellence in children's literature. Each year since 1957, Vermont students in grades four through eight have selected their favorite book from a list of nominees.
