RENAISSANCE ST. ALBANS MUSEUM TOUR

On Wednesday, September 7th, the whole team of Renaissance student walked up to the museum for a tour. Half the group went into the museum before eating bagged lunches in Taylor Park and the other half toured around after lunch. The pictures show students examining the many exhibits. USA OLYMPICS
At the beginning of the school year (9-1-2022), Team USA organized a quirky Olympics between groups organized as planets. They rotated between stations where they attempted to set time, height, and distance records that outmatched the other planetary groups. There was the paper airplane toss for distance, the frisbee toss for points in a limited time, the rubber chicken toss, the dangerous river crossing and the boot tower. Link to 45 Pictures.

DISCOVERY GOLDEN TRAY AWARD WINNERS

These two Discovery 5th graders earned the Golden Tray award for going above and beyond following cafeteria expectations. They were kind, helpful, and showed exemplary dining etiquette. Congratulations.

KALEIDOSCOPE

Our butterfly hatched from its chrysalis today in the Kaleidoscope scope k-3 classroom. Here are a few photos of the student checking out the new butterfly.

ABBEY CAFETERIA STAFF AT WORK

EXPLORERS 1ST GRADE - FORSYTH

For a Fun-Friday activity Ms. Forsyth told a short story of Sam the gummy worm who tipped over his boat. He had to get his life jacket on in the water, which was difficult. She divided the students into three groups of four and had them use only paper clips to place Sam in his gummy life-saver vest. Link to 20 Pictures.
