TRAVELERS 2ND GRADE READ-ALOUD - COX

This classroom group was totally engrossed by Ms. Cox’s reading of the Incredible Story Book. The tale pulled in characters like a dragon, Goldilocks and the three bears, people from Alice in Wonderland, a school principal and more. Ms. Cox read with enthusiasm and surprise and engagement. The students loved it.  Link to 22 Pictures.

TRAVELERS 1ST GRADE - CULLIGAN

Students and staff held their morning meeting on their room carpet. Ms. Culligan played a greeting game with the students before outlining their day’s activities. Their first project was to make bookmarks to be used throughout the school year. Two groups took turns either decorating their bookmarks or stamping names and words onto them. The students enjoyed all aspects of the project that intertwined spelling and counting lessons along the way.

NOTE FROM THE NURSES

Dear families, in the event your household has a positive COVID case we wanted to share some helpful information.

  • Quarantine for the person who tested positive is a minimum of 5 days from the day symptoms begin, OR a positive test. Whichever comes first.

  • After the 5th day of quarantine, if the person who tested positive feels well enough to engage in work/learning/activities, they may end their quarantine. The CDC recommends wearing a mask through the 10th day of having COVID.

  • Please report your positive test result to the Vermont Dept. of Health by clicking this link and following these instructions. https://bit.ly/ReportMyPositiveTestVDH

  • Be sure to inform attendance on the days your student will be absent.
