NAVIGATORS PREK/K - EMMONS

We are learning all about butterflies, moths and caterpillars in Miss Tara’s prek/k classroom. We have  successfully released our first butterfly from their metamorphosis, we learned about the butterfly life cycle and how they fly to Mexico in the winter and acted this process out and we have been doing a bunch of fun activities in the room around this theme including arts

DISCOVERY 6TH GRADE PE - JARVIS

This classroom group played indoor soccer in the big gym on Thursday, September 15th. There was a constant rotation of students to give them a chance to try different defensive and offensive positions and to keep them active. Link to 10 Pictures.

TRIUMPH 5TH GRADE PE - ANDREWS

These photos were taken during warmup activities prior to an indoor game of soccer. Students did pushups, butt kicks and burpees. Then they played games of switch on the four-square courts which is a variation on musical chairs. Link to 34 Pictures.

IMAGINATION

Second Grade warmed up by the fire while they completed a variety of literacy tasks. 9/14/2022. Quite a few classrooms have used this focus-boosting technique. Turn down the lights and show a soothing fire crackling in a fireplace and students are more relaxed while their work.

NOTE FROM THE NURSES

Dear families, in the event your household has a positive COVID case we wanted to share some helpful information.

  • Quarantine for the person who tested positive is a minimum of 5 days from the day symptoms begin OR their positive test results if there are no symptoms. Whichever comes first.

  • After the 5th day of quarantine, if the person who tested positive feels well enough to engage in work/learning/activities, they may end their quarantine. The CDC recommends wearing a mask through the 10th day of having COVID.

  • Please report your positive test result to the Vermont Dept. of Health by clicking this link and following these instructions. https://bit.ly/ReportMyPositiveTestVDH

  • Be sure to inform attendance on the days your student will be absent.
