PICTURES

VOYAGERS 5TH GRADE PE - ANDREWS

Students were organized into four groups. Two groups competed with each other for two minutes at a time playing soccer. The other two groups stood on the sidelines and kicked in balls that had gone “out of bounds”. After two minutes the soccer players rotated to the sidelines and the groups on the sidelines moved into play. This continued throughout the class session giving students a chance to play hard and then rest before another round. Link to 24 Pictures.

INVESTIGATORS 3rd GRADE MUSIC - MAHER

The photos were of two parts of the classroom music session. First, students took turns drumming and singing a segment of a classic folk song. Next, students played a form of musical chairs around their classroom rug and then around the classroom space. Lots of smiles. Link to Pictures.

KALEIDOSCOPE 4-8 MAKING SALSA - HOBEN & DESLAURIERS

Mr. Hoben shared pictures of three students making salsa in the H.O.P.E. (Hands on practical education) classroom. 9-14-2022.  Link to 6 Photos.

DISCOVERY 4TH GRADE IN THE WETLANDS - MURPHY

This group was looking at a frog. 9-15-2022

RENAISSANCE 8TH GRADE PE - JARVIS

Like many of the other grades and groups, Renaissance has been participating in indoor soccer lessons. A nerf style soccerball is used to minimize the effects of getting hit with a soccerball in the confined space of half of the big gym. These 12 photos were the least blurry ones collected from a very competitive game. 9-16-2022.

NOTE FROM THE NURSES

Dear families, in the event your household has a positive COVID case we wanted to share some helpful information.

  • Quarantine for the person who tested positive is a minimum of 5 days from the day symptoms begin OR their positive test results if there are no symptoms. Whichever comes first.

  • After the 5th day of quarantine, if the person who tested positive feels well enough to engage in work/learning/activities, they may end their quarantine. The CDC recommends wearing a mask through the 10th day of having COVID.

  • Please report your positive test result to the Vermont Dept. of Health by clicking this link and following these instructions. https://bit.ly/ReportMyPositiveTestVDH

  • Be sure to inform attendance on the days your student will be absent.
