Pictures from an October walk in 2017. Do you recognize anyone?

PICTURES

TEAM USA 8TH GRADE SCIENCE - ROULEAU

Pairs of students or individual students selected a paper airplane design they wanted to use for their experiment. Once their experimental design was correctly proposed and accepted, they tested the affect of making a specified design change on flying distances. For example one group created a tubular airplane. They made three lengths of the tube to determine if shortening the length changed flying distance.  Distances were measured out in the hallway next to the big gym using the floor tiles as a ruler since each tile measures exactly 1 foot in length. Flight distance results were recorded, analyzed and placed into a digital report submitted to Mr. Rouleau. Link to 33 Pictures.

DISCOVERY RECESS COLOR HUNT

During Discovery recess Tuesday 10-11-2022, several students (8 +/- 2) and Ms. Huber walked the path and spotted the colors of the rainbow and then some, represented in the fall flora and fauna. The colors were all so beautiful and complimentary. It was a fun natural color scavenger hunt for the small group!

ADVENTURERS ART - MARTINSON

Ms. Bolton’s students participated in a watercolor painting class run by Ms. Martinson. Link to 23 Pictures.   10-17-2022

DISCOVERY 5TH GRADE ART - MONTGOMERY

Students worked on images they could cut out and add to a giant poster with an environmental theme. Link to 13 Pictures.

EXCEPTIONAL PICTURES BOOKS IN OUR LIBRARY

The Red Clover book awards are a list of exceptional picture books created by librarians around the state since 1997.  Each of these texts are in our school library and here you will find resources that go with each book.

Like other packages, this one began as an empty box. It was packed with great care, sealed tight, and given a personal touch.

Like other packages, it left the post office with hope. But unlike most packages, before it got to its destination...

it

got

lost.

Follow one package that loses its way and discover a friendship tale that proves distance can't always keep us apart.
