EVENTS AND NOTICES
FORMS NEED TO BE RETURNED TO SCHOOL Forms sent to families and guardians need to be filled in and returned as soon as possible: Health forms, permission forms, free and reduced meal forms. The school cannot function effectively without these sources of critical information. We need to know how to reach you, what health concerns exist and if we can share your student's pictures on the announcements. Also, you should know that our breakfasts, snacks and lunches are funded when we have full participation in the paperwork for free and reduced meals - regardless of family income. Please fill out and return that form for the benefit of all students. THANK YOU for your help.
SCHOOL PHONE SYSTEM
As you may have already discovered, St. Albans City School's new phone system is not operating flawlessly. Thank you for your patience as we work daily to overcome problems that crop up.
Be aware that only the main school number (802-527-0565) remains the same. All the other school numbers you may have called previously have changed. Please use the main number to connect with the person or group you need to reach. 802-527-0565
The Renaissance Community is collecting compost from all classroom compost buckets. We will be using the compost to make nutrient-rich soil for our school gardens.

When: Any time during the school day.
How: Empty your compost buckets into the big buckets and take your compost buckets back with you.

REPORTS AND PICTURES
THE ABBEY IS GOING TO START SERVING "LOCAL" SEAFOOD
The Abbey Group will buy approximately 150,000 pounds worth of fresh seafood
from North Coast Seafood, a Massachusetts-based company that deals in wild-caught fish. We will be supplying all of our schools across the region with Acadian Redfish starting in the 2018-19 school year.
SACS STEWARDSHIP WEBSITE
Our school has a website that highlights a lot of the cool things our school has been doing over
recent years, from farm to school projects to energy efficiency projects and health promotion activities. There are many pages on the site. Each team should see if their stewardship page/content is properly informative. Check it out. LINK TO STEWARDSHIP WEBSITE
If you find pages that need updating, then feel free to communicate with Mr. Craib
about that. mcraib@maplerun.org
